Update
Well, I'm in. The RCIA coordinator e-mailed me back and I can start classes tonight. I e-mailed her back and said I'd be there. Eep.
I guess tonight is as good a night as any, right?

Wow! And here I got nervous when I called for information and I just had to be registered by the end of the week! Congratulations on taking this huge step!
They don't say, "There's no better time than the present" for nothing! You're right, being ready, and having to wait even longer is agony.
I joined the church on a continum of my faith journey. I am only now, 10 years later, coming to a more full understanding and acceptance of all of Her Teachings. I was *living* with a man when I asked to join the Church and was soooooo disappointed when they sat me down to tell me that I couldn't be Confirmed at the Easter Vigil with my classmates because of it.
I WAS confirmed, after kicking said man "to the curb," at Pentecost that same year. And I have been venturing closer to Our Lord daily since.
Someone else has already told you but I feel a need to tell you also... WELCOME HOME!!!
